Running Boards, Gone!

Finally got around removing the freakin' running boards which made my ride look like a soccer mom's mini van lol

waaaay better looking! seems like more folks taking them off than putting them on,think they have any sale value????
 
Nice, looking good. Was my first mod and broke the ice with the wife. She was mad for a few months but after she got over that, suspension lift, body lift, bumpers, winches and she never complains anymore!

Thanks man... Oh brother as if you knew! Dealing with the same headache, wife's been *****n' about it since i yesterday although she have her own car but complains she wont be able to ride with me bc she won't be able to climb into my truck Lmao.
 
I removed mine right after purchase. Looks much better and more truck-like without them.

I kept them though, in case my future kiddos need the leverage to climb in the back.

I plan on keeping this beast for awhile.

Supply and demand. Everyone takes them off and nobody wants them back on. So they are basically worthless. I still have mine and couldn't sell them for $50.

Chicks like running boards. My wife was not impressed when mine
came off and crawling into the thing in a skirt became...interesting.
She's not in it very often though. Even less now. :tape2:
 
had mine on cl for about a month. just as i was going to leave them and a bunch of other stuff for the scrappers i guy gave me $20 for them. i see them all the time priced $100-500. they must never sell

I'm getting that... Anyways like i said if i don't get anything for them i'll toss them on the sidewalk.

Hahaaa! I've been taking sh!t for these running boards since sunday. Lol
Hopefully eventually the wife will calm the f**k down. LOL
 
I took off my rusted running boards, with one of the end-caps missing, and still sold them for $40. I think I did great for that price :)
