Had it done by local body shop we know. $60 for all 4 end caps.

Got the boards online from Sparks Toyota in Myrtle Beach for like $280 plus shipping of $45. Had em in less than 4 days.

Yea told Dad to get some 3M clear guard and wrap that corner along with SS side inserts. Im sure it will hold up though. I have the whole front end on my truck painted and its fine.

still a little confused about the running boards. Just picked up my Blizzard Pearl Limited with 3rd row & Navi. I clearly need running boards for the kids to be able to climb in. I realize from reading this forum there are no Toyota Running Boards available and they're all aftermarket. On the other hand, it seems as if running boards are standard on the Canadian 4runners. If those canadian ones are made for the vehicle, aren't they going to be a better matchup? Does it make a difference? i haven't seen this topic discussed in awhile and I wonder if there are any Running Board updates.

For some reason, Toyota only offers the running boards in the US through the SE region - don't ask me why. However, you can usually order the running boards from the SE region dealers and have them shipped to your part of the country (see post #4). Ebay is also a popular option, if you want the factory running boards. They are usually offered from SE dealers through Ebay. The Canadian 4Runners apparently have factory running boards as standard equipment - at least on some of there models.

Here on Guam they give the running boards to the base model and for some reason the models above it like the limited does not come with the running boards lol, i guess its another way for business.

Both Ohio and Illinois dealers now have the running boards.
