Running Boards

So, I'm thinking of taking of the running boards on my 93 to get a better look out of it. It's got stock suspension and 22" tires.

I never take it off road because there is nowhere near by where I could do that and it's 2WD. I'm worried that stones will fly up and hit the doors and sides of the body.

It's seems pretty easy. Does anybody have any suggestions?
Leave them on? or Take them off?

its kind of a personal prefrence :girl:

Yeah mines got those bars on the side and rocks and stones flick up and chip the front door paint if you have wide/oversize tyres.

You don't still have your mounts do you?
Just got a 93 and found some boards from a '14, but I need compatible mounts.

Actually if you don't need the side steps to get in and out of your 4runner, they look better without them.
