Hello All,
I'm new to the thread but not new to owning my 4-Runner.
It's a 2000 Limited 4x4 with 114K miles on it. It runs horribly, has no power and gets horrible gas mileage. I've had the O2 sensor replaced twice and just recently had a major tune-up with plugs, wires, cap etc... My check-engine light comes on within a day of resetting it because of a constant lean condition. I have had it checked 3 times for this and nothing seems to be helping it. In traffic under constant stop and go the truck stalls frequently. Under acceleration the truck bogs and has virtually no power. Do I need a new catalytic converter? Can I use a different chip to get rid of the governor? Any ideas, thoughts or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks.
