Russian look of 4Runner genI

Hi all. I wished you to present my 4Runner which was made for Russian roads and off-road. My English could have some mistakes so sorry before
Here the specs:
chassis was taken from 4Runner Gen3 with A rear wishbone instead panara. The problem I have now is to heave springs for it (the weight of the SUV is 1600kg) so look of buying US air suspension but I never tried it and probably you could help me to choose it. Our temperatures in the winter could be less then -35C so I dont know how will it work. fender flares i look for too)
transmission
I changed it to Gen3 too because of differential and chassis which needs correct installation of the shafts
Engine was taken from Celica ST205, its a turbo 2,0l engine 255hp in stock with front mounted intercooler and some easy tuning parts inside
Steering is taken from Gen3 too.
Wheel base I made longer to make shorter overhang (hope this is that word, I mean to make front side of the car shorter)
Lights are by Hella with the stock xenon inside. Very recommend - the light is really tough
Winch is Warn 9500HS really good but could be better if the suv was under off-road only. For off-road we create custom winches with variators like in snowmobiles and powered from crankshaft pulley with help of hand managed clutch but this is another story and is needed only in Russian extreme mud and swamp off-road only.
I also put arb lockers in front and rear. After putting it I can ashore you that lockers is number 1 and right tires - number 2.
There also were made a lot of small works and now my suv is reliable. It drives like Subaru Impreza and in the off-road its a really good one. Properly my aim was to make an universal road and off-road suv which would not half good here or there, it should be on the highest level everywhere.
I took part in the longest russian competition from one side of the country to the other side. the distance was 16500km in the winter road and off-road sides. So in 2006 and 2008 years I was first with help of 4Runner.

R18 with winter tires are Kosei and R16 with Goodrich as I remember are russian KRAMZ. its forged ones. we have lot of forged wheels here because of the manufacturer of Boeing's forged parts is in 200km from here) and its produce a lot of different forged rims

Do they sell them in the US?
 
only Boeings))) I dont think you will see Russian goods soon because it very difficult with our laws and numerous paper working
 
KRAMZ R16 costs 210$ for each rim and beadlock rims's cost is 330$. all are forged. as you can see we are not cheap country. when I see your prices I just want to buy all. for example same stock 4Runner in a bad condition will cost about 10000$ and 4Runner gen5 will cost 70000-75000$
 
here is the first look of my t4r. And first it was right handed Hilux Surf. I was short of time (we create it in about 3 months in a garage) to start in its first competition for 16000km and made just all is needed to move without any conditions to live for 2 weeks inside. So we started without even a heater and the car was full of different holes. It was a winter and it was really cold because it was in Murmansk city (watch the map). when we found some time we continued to prepare the car. If you watch the white t4r photo closely you will see how much work we had not do) for example I took front glass central wiper from mercedes because right handed wipers are not good for tall men.

Jesus I love this thread. I so wish I had money to throw at my baby. Your ride is super cool, and man, $75,000 for a 5th, just WOW. That's Land Cruiser prices there.

you think its chains, another competitors use much more bigger chains))) Chains like mine are good for more acceleration and believe me no one tire work like chains


 
probably somebody tells me where do you buy fender flares? My rubber universal fenders make me ugly with car's look. And American ones are so pretty) I also want to change a look of the hood because Subaru's cap is just for hump of the engine, so it close it, telling by secret ha. the new look will be very soon and I will show photos

Definitely a cool truck, it looks like you guys do some really cool and different stuff.
The only company I can think of right now that makes fender flares is Bushwacker.... they miight have some thatll fit. Not sure if theyd ship to you though....

ha. yeah, my relatives are trying to convince me to export my current car (G35 (skyline 350GT) out there because it is so ridiculously pricey out there)..
