I purchased a "precut" tail light tint kit for my 07. Yet when I received it, I got 4 oddly cut pieces. Anybody use this product?

I don't have any experience with the taillight tint so can't help you there! You may already know this but taillight tint is illegal in most states. In some areas you can actually be held at fault if another driver rear ends you as well.

I'm just posting this here for anyone considering or driving around with tinted taillights so please don't take this as being directly aimed at you. Just wanted to put this info out there in case folks were unaware!

Hopefully someone can help out with the tint application directions.

I bought some when I first got my 4runner and had the same problem. They claimed that the pieces needed stretching with a heat gun during application but I just couldn't see how it would fit the tail lights.

The guy I spoke with was kind of a d*ck and basically told me it was my fault and his cuts were most certainly right... I finally tried to install it and it didn't fit at all and was ruined. Of course he didn't give me a refund.

Before I ever got anymore I saw some in person and decided the light was too dim during the daytime for me to feel was safe.
