2016 Trail Edition w/ KDSS ​

Coming off my old 4th gen I recently sold, starting off my build thread on this "new to me" 2016 Trail I just picked up last Friday.

Just picked up the last set of King Shocks over at Camburg in Huntington. Heard the wait time was at least 8 months :faint:

Body mount chop done over at Aiden James Customs

Installed King extended travel 2.5" coilovers up front with matching 2.5" rear shocks. Dobinsons 2" rear spring (C59-327) and Total Chaos Fab upper arms

The PRG sticker was from back in 2013 when I used to have a Nissan Frontier that I titan-swapped haha I got a set of sway-away coilovers from PRG that they valved for what I was running. You got a good eye!

ha, i had his valved sway aways on my titan as well. rode super nice. among other PRG parts.

It has been almost a year since I updated this build thread.. Below are some items that have been added over the past year as well as a trip to Southern Utah. Bought my first home this year so parts to the 4runner have been on the back burner :/

New Toyo M/T 315/70/17 tires all around. Added Baja Designs Squadron Fog lights and TRD skid plate

Also trimmed the fenders to have more clearance especially when the tire is fully stuffed. Followed the Trail4R guide to trim the stock fenders and relocated the fender bracket.
