Windrock Trail 15 & Black Mountain Offroad Park in Harlan, KY

Photo dump!

Made it halfway through the rut on trail 15 at Windrock before getting stuck. Smashed the driver side mirror but that was expected. Fun trail!

This park is a rough place with a lot of challenging trails, but it is by far one of my favorite parks!

TPMS Bypass

Bypassed my TPMS to get the dash light to go away. Much cheaper than paying to replace the TPMS sensors, just requires regular tire pressure checks!

FJ Transfer Case Swap Complete!

Finally finished up everything for my FJ transfer case swap! Here's all that remains visible of it:

Got some goodies from the junkyard the other day: got a good condition steering wheel, the plastic ignition trim ring, and scored a second row weathertech! Also got a clean power steering reservoir since I couldn't see through mine.













While I was replacing the power steering reservoir, I replaced some cracking hoses and flushed the power steering following this writeup:
DIY: Power Steering Flush (4th gen specific)

Here's part numbers for the hoses, I just used whatever was cheapest on Rock Auto:

PS Reservoir to PS Pump: Sunsong 3404929
PS Reservoir to PS Pump

PS Reservoir to hardline: Sunsong 3402985
PS Reservoir to Hardline


Not pictured, I also replaced my blower motor since it was squeaking a ton. Glad I was able to get a lot done!

Question for you Ryan

Ryan, I'm getting everything together to swap transfer cases as you did. I've also got a '04 v6 auto 4runner. I'm only lifted 2.5"(1.5" body lift is on the way) and was wondering if you think the driveline spacer will be needed? You're lifted a bit more so that why I'm asking. Or maybe I just need a smaller one than the 1.25". As I still need to pick up the FJ case I can't pull any measurements but would like to get the spacer coming asap. Your swap thread was very helpful so thank you very much indeed!
