Sad weekend for Radio Host

Hey guys, a really horrible thing happened this weekend to Rick Burgess, who lives about a mile from us in Birmingham, and is a really nice guy.

He and another fellow by the name of Bubba (Bill Bussey) host a radio morning show by the name of The Rick and Bubba Show, please keep Rick and his family in your prayers.

Rick's two year old son drowned in their pool this Saturday night. Please keep them in your prayers. I am very saddened by this, having children of my own, it really hits home. Very tragic.

Yeah wiki was on it really fast, I saw that Sunday morning, only a few hours had passed when the Sherriff anounced the death Sunday morning and it was on there.

The strange thing to me is that Rick was at a Religous retreat (speaking) this weekend when it happened, they had to fly him from Gatlinburg back to Birmingham Saturday night.

Just keep them in your thoughts and prayers as I know you all are.

Very, Very sad. I found out in church Sunday. I know Bill "Bubba" he bought some land from my family he calls the BubbaRosa, and my Sister knows Sherri. The great strength they've shown through this with a positive attitude can only come from within a Believer. PLEASE PRAY FOR FAMILY @ FRIENDS.

WOW this guy is strong in his faith, He did a public memorial service for his son yesterday and spoke in front of 3000 or more people at a church about his sons death...
