Safari Tent/Canopy Thread?

Evening all,

I remember seeing a thread a while ago about someone building a rectangular tent/shade type thing that attached to the back of the 4runner. I think the top was some sort of heavy-ish tarp, and the sides were basically a fly screen.

I tried searching and cannot find the thread... anybody know what I am talking about?

I am thinking about putting one together for some of this summer's festivities.

The one I am thinking of (hopefully I didn't just dream it up) was not a real tent. It was basically a canopy that had two legs about 6 feet out behind the bumper, and two poles connecting the legs to the t4r. Then basically that mesh draped over it.

It was more for day-lounging than sleeping. Although the thread you posted has some really good sleeping ideas! Thanks!
