Saggy Back end

I just bought a 1995 t4r. I love everything about it except how the back end sags down. The front looks alot better. How can I level it out without buying a lift? I need specific parts please. Thanks.

I dont think add-a-leafs would work on a truck with coil springs.....

you could either get a set of heavy duty coils or coil spacers . Those would be your cheapest options.

Well now I think I want a 3'' body lift, would that work to?

true true. i dont know if this will work, as i am not sure on spring tensions and size (diameter) but another idea would be to go to a bone yard, and take the long springs from a truck (the front coil springs from say, a ford f250 or such), measure them up, cut them to approx size, compress, and install. if not, google is an amazing place to choose your facourite coil spacers. that works too. of just google it, and try and find some ghetto fixs. i crammed ford excursion front coils in between my bump stops on my leafs, with litterally no extra work or mods, and it levelled out my runner, and provided a much smoother ride than factory, or other ghetto fixs such as blocks or add-a-leaf kits could provide. sometimes simple is best. remember kids, function over form!!

you do know that there is some fabrication involved with a 3 inch body lift right? do some research before you do it. if you want to raise the rear end to make it the same height as the front, YOU NEED TALLER COILS OR COIL SPACERS. New shocks will do nothing to help that problem.

So those old man coil springs you linked to will level it out? I meant to say coil springs not shocks in my earlier post.

yup those coils would level you out, or there are the old man emu 900 coils, which are softer, (the 901s are heavy duty) so i guess it depends on your situation. There are also the Moog cc225 coils, which i have heard work very well.

I put the Moog progressive rate cargo coils on my 95 4runner and saw very little difference in height (less than an inch), not enough to bring it level, so i'm now looking at either spacers or replacing with OME coils.
