Saggy Rear Suspension

I have a 1994 4runner 3.0 and i just installed the Moog CC255 rear coil springs and it got better but i notice that its sagging pretty good. What else could i do to level the front and rear of my truck? Is there a better shock i could use to raise it or what have people done to cure this problem. Thanks

Shocks are not meant to adjust ride height, they are dampers. (OK, air shocks do, but that a different story) Are you sure they are the right ones for your application?

Here's what I did to address the issue on the truck in the pic:
-urethane control arm and lateral arm bushings, Suspension Restoration Parts Co.
-moog rear coil springs
-toyota shock all round
-sway-a-way torsion bars(25mm)
-ball joints(upper and lower)
-steering relay rod recall and re-alignment
It took a bit of work, but was well worth it. The 4runner is much better on the road now, handles better, and far more stable on the hwy.

I did some measuring after i installed the springs and i have from the ground to the fenderwell 35" in the rear and 36 1/4" in the front. Could you guys measure yours to see if this is the normal height of the truck. I really would like the rear to match the front if possible.

Measuring on the driver's side, the rear was 33.75 and the front was 34.50(give or take a 16th). The truck was aligned not too long ago at the dealer when the recall was done, on all new suspension components as well. Hope this helps.

So it seems that we both have about an inch difference from rear to front so maybe this is normal ride height. What is out there that i could get an inch or two lift in the rear where i wont lose my ride.

The urethane bushings in the rear gave it a bit of a lift after installation. The factory units were just shot, enough so that it really created a fair bit of the sag along with the old coil springs.
You have to torch and cut them out, but well worth the effort. There is probably an inch or so difference on our truck from front to back but it almost impossible to tell due to the fact there is little or no sag from front to back which has a tendency to excentuate the difference even more. You might also consider getting it completely re-aligned after you've straightened some of the components out.

Couldnt i also just crank the torsion bars down in the front to level it out? Where did you get your bushings?

One of the issues with "cranking down on the torsion bars" is that the camber and caster changes depending on the control arm setting. It can adversely effect mpg, tire wear, handling, and you get the idea. I got the bushings for our truck through www.suspension .com .
