Added a pair of the 9006 LED lamps and tried to apply the "XBLED" code. Said code was not valid. Also tried the code "XD10" which is actually on the website and it said that is not valid either.

Unfortunately because we don't sell used components they can't be refunded. If there is any issues with the bulb it would be covered under warranty.

Stock bulbs in oem 06+ housings, which are pretty good, but would like to get LED all the way to get that crisp on/off for both stop and signals. Not willing to sacrifice output for it though.

Well you have a few options, if your looking for a brighter light I would go with the Putco Plasma bulbs but if your looking for a street legal LED with the correct light pattern than I would recommend the Philips LED bulbs.

Unfortunately I wasn't able to find any example pictures of the LED bulbs installed in a 4Runner.
