interesting how Boch puts the dealer invoice right out there…
I saw a Salsa Red SR5 and a Shoreline Blue Limited today at the Toyota dealer in Honolulu. They are trickling in...there was a Magnetic Grey, Black, and a pearl white. One of every color except silver.

From what my dealer told me the 2010 4Runners are only being offered in the TE in Salsa right now. From what 3 other dealers and even the web site said was that the other packages would be out sometime after Jan 2010. My dealer here had a TE in Salsa and it really did look great! I'm still bummed they did away with Nautical Blue! : (

Actually, in the Gulfstates area, TE's come in Silver, black, and, so far, two reds. Mine is one, the other one is in Baton Rouge, LA still for sale. There are only nine left in the entire region, and that's stayed fairly constant over the last month. So far, there's only been two in red, a couple in black and the rest are all silver. All have KDSS and Navi.

And I have a Magnetic Gray Metallic TE so I think your dealer is confused.

Great shot, and a great looking TE! I almost got one that color, but the other two 4R's I've owned (an 89 and a 98) both were red, so, I just stayed the course.
I adjusted the color a bit to more accurately reflect the true color of the red, which is really a crimson, similar to "candy apple red" until I can take some better shots this weekend when it warms up a bit. My wife's Prius is more "red-red", and the both of us like the TE's Salsa Red better than the Barcelona Red.

Not what dealer said, what I SAW
ORR Toyota in Searcy, AR had a red TE when I got mine November 28th. It's not that they told me they had one or even that they told me they could get it, I SAW it on the lot the day I got mine, up until a week ago it was still there for sale.
