Salvage blue auto 4x4 4runner.

So like clock work a 4runner was put out at the boneyard. Any parts shared with the truck, are gone! I see gardening toyota trucks and metal collecting toyota trucks all over town getting the job done, that's how these guys keep them running. So all that's left over after only 3 days of being put out is the 4runner specific parts, which is what a I'm looking for but it's a blue interior and mine is gray. However the auto transmission and all the 4x4 stuff is all there. Tail gate is dented tough, and the window is scratched. Quarter panels look solid, except for some unfinished body work that lead to surface rust.

What are you looking for from a 1st gen? There are a few close to where I live and I just saw a few with grey interior today. I might be able to help you out.

cool, I'm looking for the driver's side interior shell trim in dark gray, sr5 door pulls in gray (these are looking bad on all the 4runners I've seen at the yard), a not-cut radio bezel in black. But I'd really like to find a turbo model at the boneyard to pick off all the turbo related components, as spares.
I see a 4runner at he boneyard every month more or less. Are there a lot more at the yards in Santa Cruz? I would drive 4 hours if a turbo model was up for picking.

I don't think I have seen a turbo model yet. There are a few near santa cruz. I saw a couple yesterday, but I don't think they were turbo. I will keep my eye out though.
