Ok, so I sold the 2nd gen. The plan was to get out of rock crawling and off-roading to save a little money. So I bought this as a DD and maybe to putz around in the mountains. 1988 Suzuki Samurai 4x4, 1.3L 5spd
Right after I bought it, the carb died. I immediately decided to upgrade and slap a Weber in it. This eliminates so much of the vacuum crap and left it running like a champ.
Pardon the pic, the engine was clean before I went to Moab, but more about that later.
Next was the seats and interior. The old Sammy seats were toast, so I pulled them and let the boys have them for their clubhouse. I had a couple 2nd gen 4Runner seats laying around, so in they went. The nearly 30 year old carpet was more than trashed and stinky, so I pulled it and bed lined the whole interior with Rustoleum Truck Bed Liner.
