Sams Club Special!

So I just got back from Sams Club and as usual I always check out the tires there. So I head back to look at 265/75/16 and see that they have a closeout sale going on for BFG Rugged trail tires for $69.99 each plus if you buy four you get an extra $60 off!! So I ended up with four brand new BFG's for $240 tax included!! :biggrin2:

Did you get those in Erie? Did you happen to see if they had any other sizes?

I purchased them in Williamsport. I'm not sure about the other sizes, you could always call and ask them. I know tommorow 8/21 Is the last day for the additional $60 off.

Haha. I'm jealous. I just bought a set of those at Costco a few months ago. They quoted me at about $530 but I only ended up paying around $340 because of a credit card rebate. Still, would have been nice to save a few more bucks on them. But they are definitely nice tires. I've been happy with them so far.

Ya, I caught a really good break for once! I'm going to wait to put them on untill I get my new springs and shocks though. I plan on selling my old tires for $100, there still good for at least another 15k miles yet.

absolutley filthy... that makes my head hurt. i've been pricing tires over the last week. when i read this i rushed into my local sams, they of coarse have none... oh well, i would much rather shell out +$800. good find

Just FYI for those that didn't know, these are not KO's, but T/A's. KO's are great off-roaders. The T/A's are "highway all-season" tires. I have the stock T/A's on my Tacoma right now (they came stock on Tacoma TRD OR's) and they're ok. My old REVO's were much better, in all aspects, though.

bgmac - not trying to be a Debbie Downer, but if you're not going off-road much, then they should be ok tires. Read the reviews on tirerack on these.

Its cool P Nut, They are just what I wanted highway/all season tire. I dont go off roading at all, I ride my quads when I want to go off roading. The quads are much more fun to take off roading and less expensive to fix. I just hope the tires do well in the snow.

What kind of snow? Light snow on the road? (1-2 inches) Or deeper stuff? (6-9 inches) Lighter stuff, it will be okay. Deeper stuff, they kind of suck (from experience). They'll get you home, though. KO's are awesome in the snow. T/A's are just like any other all-season tire. They are more comfortable on the roads, though.
