San Antonio 4runners?

I recently moved here from Lubbock. Haven't had time for trails...but I'm alwsys looking for something fun for a weekend get away with the fam...
I'm about to do the exact opposite, move from SA to Lubbock! I got into Texas Tech so I'm gonna move at the end of august.

I'm working on a drilling rig about an hour south of SA. I have joined a Facebook group that seems to be mostly Toyota enthusiasts. They're pretty active and have been up to Hidden Falls Ranch west of Austin several times since the new year began. 3000 acres, and miles of trails. Setup for anything from basic 4 wheeling to hard core rock crawling, and all of the hard obstacles have drive arounds for unequipped rigs. I have tried to get together with them on their last 3 trips, but the timing has just been wrong for me. If you have a Facebook account you might check them out. They seem like a good group.

I'm in College Station for school, but in SA every few weekends and during the breaks. Would love to hit some trails!

What's up texans! Moved to austin last year and like to hit some trails up soon. Dont know the scene here just yet.. a lot more fun to wheel in a group!!

Is anyone here in SA doing any kind of meet and greet? I just moved here. Traded my 2007 FJ for my 2014 SR5 Premium. About to pull the trigger on a Toytec BOSS and was wondering where a good place to get tires around the SA area is? probably looking for a 285/75/17.

Welcome.

I found best service and prices at local Discount Tires. I really like the store at SW Military and 35 or even the Blanco Store. I avoid the stores on 281 just because they are so busy.

On the FJ forum there is a group setting up a Big Bend trip over Christmas break too. They are looking for others that want to join them.

what are some good shops in San Antonio or any recommendations? looking for suspension and general work on the truck. any one have any experience locally?

I always forget about this section. There are a couple of us here and we should plan a meet! Last one was more than a year ago!
