I say we simply slam the door on ALL immigration. Period. Then round up the illegals and deport them. ALL of them.

And yes, my parents immigrated here. Legally. They learned the language, worked legally, never took a penny of welfare of any kind. Produced two kids who served there country and have paid more in than they've gotten out.

Sadly, a gross minority of immigrants seem to do that anymore. Let's give those that are already here legally that chance. The rest? Go ask the Chinese for asylum.

The problem with this is the list itself. There is no due process and no judicial oversight. There are numerous examples of individuals being put on the list that didn't belong there. This is why the ACLU is fighting the list.

If we allow the govt. to take away one right based on an arbitrary list, what's to stop them from taking away others.

So, why isn't Farook's mom, who lived under their roof as they built 15 pipe bombs, being held in custody as a material witness until they find out what she knows.

Nothing about the items found in the car are particularly hard to find or uncommon. I carry tools, including hammers and saws, construction plans for buildings, and after leaving a range I will often have targets in the back. And I would love to get a Go-Pro (c'mon Santa, don't let me down this year) Shoot, most of the people I know with firearms have thousands of rounds of ammo just stuck in the bedroom closet. Seems like everything there is pretty circumstantial, at least from a "How did everyone miss the obvious signs?" point of view.

In regards to the "small percentage of Muslims are radicalized." In Saudi Arabia, women are second class citizens and are not even allowed to drive, in Iran, people are beheaded, and in both countries, people are still stoned to death. Iran chants "death to America" regularly, and has committed to wiping Israel off the map. Saudi Arabia has 30 million people, while Iran has 77 million. If you accept the 1 billion number, Saudi and Iran equal 10% of the Muslim world. Two countries. 10% seems somewhat small, but if 10% of Americans were racists, gun toting bigots, the left would say that is far too many, and it would be a problem, or if "only" 10% of cops were bad, it would be a national issue, and would be front and center.

There are nearly 95 million Americans unemployed... so I'm pretty sure we have more than enough labor to fill any jobs that need to be filled.

And it's sad but alot of those unemployed will not take just any job to put food on the table. You see it alot in my generation, some think honest hard labor is to just hard.... there's also a portion of America that frankly put, would rather live on the government dollar and make no effort to better their situation and actually take advantage of programs that could help them do so. Not all, but there is a sizeable part of the population that is like this

I know a few people that are down and out and complain about the government not doing enough for them, but I know if the government came in and said "hey we will pay for your housing if you pick strawberries for 8 hours a day, 5 days a week" they would say h3ll no!!

I'm for immigration but, you want to come here follow our laws. Simple as that. If you come in without following the law, yes your are breaking it and you are illegal. It's not that hard.... try to illegally enter another country and see what they do....
