You didn't miss any sarcasm. However, this probably isn't the place to discuss it.

If you care to shoot me a PM about what our nation was built on, I'd be interested- I love to learn. I always thought it was built on the incredibly large production of agricultural goods which, outside of subsistence farming, was handled predominantly by enslaved individuals. Maybe I am wrong. I could be. I don't claim to be a historian.

I'm not going to get into an argument like what's been going on here as my views have been severely skewed because of my profession. I will say that this isn't the American of the 1800 and 1900s as that ship has sailed many years ago. Times have severely changed for the worst and we are not changing with them. When will we wake up and realize that we are not liked by many and stop being so f***ing politically correct and tell these country where to go. It's time to take care of Americans and stop worrying about eveyone else, and this starts with our own military, civilians, homeless and poor. Stop spending billions on other counties to make nice because they all hate us. And for those of you who think gun control will stop or even slow this Happening train wreck down you need your head checked because your just taking guns away from good people as everyone knows bad people will ALWAYS find a way to secure weapons no matter the restrictions.

Give us 75 years to assimilate who we have here, then consider reopening the doors. Let the rest of the world choke on the garbage they have been sending us lately.

And yes, my parents immigrated here. Legally. They learned the language, worked legally, never took a penny of welfare of any kind. Produced two kids who served there country and have paid more in than they've gotten out.

Sadly, a gross minority of immigrants seem to do that anymore. Let's give those that are already here legally that chance. The rest? Go ask the Chinese for asylum.

Oh, and if you're one of those who despise this country as racist or oppressive? Free one-way flights to Uganda or North Korea! Your choice!

You have a problem with oversimplifying things. Guess what happens to the Navy when it doesn't have enough money? It doesn't have a carrier battle group in the Persian Gulf for months. Agencies do what they can with the funding they receive. Money is a very real problem, so stop acting like the world can be fixed by some dumbass meme you saw on facebook.

I know exactly what happens when the Navy has no money. I remember being welded to the pier in 1994 because Billy Clinton didn't give us enough bread to buy fuel to get underway.

Nice post! I definitely agree that we need to refocus our efforts on cleaning up our own country and start looking out for #1. We have plenty of issues between the Atlantic and Pacific to keep us busy for a while. Once we get our own house in order, THEN we will be in a stronger position, more capable of helping other countries who need assistance.

If it weren't for this immigrant labor, our prices on many products and services would be astronomical. Things as simple as a head of lettuce would not be 99cents, more like $5. Its smarter to blame big business for this issue. Our prison situation is another problem we have here in the USA, as we only have 5% of the world population but have 25% of the world prison population.

There are nearly 95 million Americans unemployed... so I'm pretty sure we have more than enough labor to fill any jobs that need to be filled.

It's time to put Americans first, not doing so is UNAMERICAN.

Authorities have been unable to pinpoint the other target, but pictures on Syed Farook’s cell phone possibly reveal where — a high school, the San Bernardino Sun reported.

As a health inspector for the San Bernardino County Department of Health, Syed Farook had access to the schools within the Rialto Unified School District and its 30 food prep facilities, twice per year. Sources close to the investigation found multiple photos of one of those facilities — a high school in Rialto — on his cell phone.

A number of schools that Syed Farook would’ve inspected have been swept with bomb-sniffing dogs. All were found to be safe and FBI sources have no evidence that Farook and Malik had targeted schools.

But according to one counterterrorism expert, former Green Beret Lt. Col. Scott Mann, those photos on the terrorist’s phone could mean only one thing– and it fits ISIS methodology.

“That tells me that he is doing close reconnaissance of a target area. They want to look at ingress routes, the egress routes and the centers of large population like a cafeteria. It looks like a duck, quacks like a duck. ISIS, more so than al-Qaida, operates off a prophecy that they are going to usher in the apocalypse. That’s what they want. They’re doing anything and everything they can to draw us in emotionally into that battle… That’s why they’re going for the schools, that’s what they’re doing with the in-your-face violence.”
