Sand, De-icer, and Salt

Members,

As our city and county workers has succumbed to political pressure, we here in Washington State have begun the use of the nasty corrosive stuff on our roads. What should an owner due to offset the potential effects of this crap? I wash a minimum of once a week, detail my undercarriage every time I wash, and have waxed religiously since I got my 4 Runner. Anything I'm missing?

Hate it as much as you want but it saves lives .They salt the s$#T of of the roads here plus living on the ocean the salt moisture in the air eats our vehicles year round but I don't mind. Couldn't imagine what the roads would be like without it. The plus side is I get to buy a new vehicle 5 years sooner than someone in a dry climate. That way I'll always be styin in a newer rig .Whoot Whoot !!!!!!!!!!!:hatsoff:

I always spray the bottom and underneath off right after a storm...or as soon as the roads dry up a bit, but a minimum of once a week.
