Please help me welcome Sandy, the 2000 4Runner SR5 that's still got so much life left in her!

Wanted to give a shoutout to one of my closest buddies [MENTION=174573]krutoydiesel[/MENTION] who convinced me to buy a 4runner and explore the great outdoors.

Purchase date: July 20th, 2018
Odometer: 129,997
Color: Desert Dune

Glove box contained 100k miles of Toyota Dealership history. What an amazing find.

She came to me run & drive, only needing a tiny bit of love up front, so the first thing I did was ordered a bumper.

October 29th, 2018
After nearly 14 weeks, my Addicted Offroad bumper finally arrived.

November 7th, 2018:
So I got the front cross member painted black and mounted.

And here's the Addicted Offroad bumper, mounted on with a few bolts to ensure fitment is correct. Will be sanding down, primer and painting this week.

Once painted, I'll be wiring up my turn signals and LED fog lights.

November 8th, 2018:
Got the bumper beautifully painted with a couple coats of bed liner spray. Looking beautiful!

Gotta love it when you can finally mount things onto your rig.

November 19th, 2018:
Had a little bit of time of time this weekend, so I went ahead and got my turn signals finally wired in and mounted. They are looking beautiful. Soon those LED's will be filled in as well!

Also, my Bilstein 5100's are in. Huge shout out and thanks to [MENTION=80392]Wheeler[/MENTION]'s Off-Road, Inc. for having some of the best staff that helped me figure out exactly what I needed and got it to me within a matter of 2-3 days. Can't wait to install these !

November 22nd, 2018:
Got my lift installed and alignment done! She rides SO much better than the stock suspension setup.

December 2nd, 2018:

Finally got rid of those ugly running boards and got the LED fog lights installed onto the bumper. She's looking gorgeous now.

December 20th, 2018:

Got my Cooper STT Pro tires in !!! Man are these things beefy. Now I'm waiting for my Pro Comp 7069's to arrive so I can mount them on.

December 26th, 2018:
Got everything mounted now with minimal rubbing. Baby's happy to have her new shoes.

Additionally got my Pioneer head unit installed, so I can finally listen to my music instead of the radio.

- LED Fog lights w/ combination turn signal fog light switch.

- Pioneer FH-S700BS Double DIN head unit

Welcome brother, glad to see you here and a build thread started. Stoked to do some wrenching on this together.

Go 33s or bust, I have the KO2s now, but might get the KM3s next time around for a more aggressive look and better traction in the mud/snow. Might as well get proper fitting wheels to avoid spacers and issues with the tundra brake upgrade.

I bought it during their sale event. I got the turn signals + fog lights.

So total, after shipping fee, it was rough $1,000 which is pretty standard for offroad bumpers. Though it took a really long time to deliver (14 weeks), its still beautiful.

Also just realized that my rear shocks need replacing, so I might as well just order my lift already.

You already know

Tundra Bilstein 5100s front and rear shocks. Make sure they swap out the bushing in the eyelet on the front shocks to match the bushings from the 3rd gen.

OME 882 coils in the front with 2 notches on the shock perfect for bumper with winch
OME 891 coils in the rear - great for a setup with rear bumper

Make sure to get [MENTION=28464]eimkeith[/MENTION] Pan hard correction kit weld on brackets to put your panhard back at stock proportions.

Get plastics guy durobumps front and rear to smooth out the whoops

Get a diff drop kit from wheelers while you're getting the suspension.

Hopefully I didn't miss anything.

Usually a 3" lift is what everyone shoots for. But it all depends on your needs and what you're going to be doing with the runner.

Just spoke with some guys from WheelersOffroad to get some insights and also spoke to [MENTION=174573]krutoydiesel[/MENTION] on the phone regarding the lift.

Gonna go with pretty much what [MENTION=174573]krutoydiesel[/MENTION] mentioned in his post.

I would also go aftermarket UCA's for alignment purposes, SPC/Total Chaos, etc. But to each their own.

[MENTION=250168]Rpreme[/MENTION] I'de go with the aftermarket UCA's but at the moment, I'm not financially able to pull through on that upgrade, so it'll have to wait. I know those can run upwards of $500-600, and I'm not currently budgeted for that.

While yes they help with alignment, I haven't had any issues with alignment on stock UCAs with the same lift above.

They are a great thing to have when you want 35s to clear by pushing the wheels forward.

I'll have my turn signals and LED's on once I get my waterproof plugs in.

Additionally, the little rectangular piece below my headlights was painted black, mostly just to give it a shot and see what it'll look like. I already had a can of black paint lying around. If I don't like it, I'll pick something up and try to color match it.

Ordering my suspension today or tomorrow.

Will have to get the panhard correction kit soon too. Hopefully get the suspension taken care of by thanksgiving if possible.

Anyone mount some 33" KO2's on stock SR5 6 spoke wheels (split 3 spoke) ? I was thinking of just reusing my wheels and mounting better tires on. I know there may be some rubbing issues with the UCA's, and I don't want to rely on wheel spacers.

1. Drain and Fill Transmission Fluid
2. Front and Rear Diff fluid flush
3. Transfer case fluid flush

Will need to eventually do coolant flush and power steering, but I'll have to do that sometime later down the line.
