SAS'ing a 3rd gen runner

Any of you all have a 3rd gen with an SFA? I have an '00 that I may retire in the near future, and if I do, I am going to put a Dana44 in the front. I have seen several rigs on other sites with the swap, but I need some more details. Anyone have one or know anyone who does?

D44 is the common axle to use for a SAS on the 95+ Runners /Tacos. Plenty of info, try this thing called GOOGLE.

I have tried this thing called GOOGLE dude. I freaking know that the D44 is the most common axle to use, usually out of a Wagoneer cause it is nearly the same width as the rear, only a half inch shorter, I believe. Try freaking reading what I asked for - someone who has done one, or knows someone who does. Have you/do you? If not, then you've got nothing for me. If you have/do, I am guessing you are not going to give me any advice anyway. I am wanting advice on the actual planning, etc., cause this will be my first attempt at a SAS.

Hey man, I dont know jack about what you need but I can offer you this advice; you may wanna check around at some of the other yota boards for the more HARDCORE type of stuff such as this..... not that there arent a handful of hardcore knowledgeable people here but I think there are more on some of these other boards:
yotatech.com
toyota120.com
ultimateyota.com
ih8mud.com

just to name a couple. Good luck and I hope this doesnt piss anyone here off.

Yeah, I got two posts on Pirate, one in the newbie section, and one in the Taco/4R section. No one in the newbie section can help much, and they have been flaming away in the Taco/4R section. But thanks for the tip!

Actually, I know 3 people that have done it, and could have given you their info if you hadn't been such a douchebag.
