Sat Radio in 06

I just ordered my new 06 and am anxiously waiting for it. I got the nav unit and noticed that there is a Sat button on the unit but Toyota doesnt offer sat radio on the 4runner how does that work? How can I get sat radio that will work through the nav unit?

Generally, they aren't out yet. Toyota and Terk both will release one in March. Prices range from $199 to $485 depending on who you're talking to. Give it a few weeks and some may be out that can be installed into the factory unit.

I bought an 06 and want XM , they informed me that the unit won't be available until march or april.

Yeah, I have a new '06 with the JBL / SAT system; and got the same info from Southeastern Toyota Distributors (March/April). My dealers were clueless......and S.T.D. really has no definite information on receiver/antenna realease dates. Really dissappointed me with Toyota at first, but I have since learned XM is having financial problems (even though they just paid Ophra Winfrey $50million, ha).....I'm guessing the ball was dropped by XM on the developement....not toyo engineers.

My local dealers are supposed to call me as soon as they get part numbers/ availability. I'll let you know if I get some news before anyone else.
