Satoshi Grille or Factory?

I just wanted to get everyone opinion; right now I am running a "satoshi grille" and I was curious if guys think I should

1) Keep it
2) Keep it and paint the chrome satin black
3) Go back to factory grille

Also, if anyone could photoshop a black version of the satoshi grille it would be much appreciated!

I save money and put them towards mods that I will enjoy more than paying hundreds for a grille.

or you could go with option 4.5 - paint the satoshi grill the same color as your truck. they sell them in spray cans, right? ha

Do they sell the factory colored paint in spray cans?

I thought about the Toyota logo, but I saw someone who had done that and it looks sort of weird since it sits so far back into the grille. I will look into the letters though, I thought about that as well but have not tried to get ahold of any.

Another thing I was going to try to do was mounting some Hella 500's behind the grille, some of the guys with Tacomas have done this. I have just been too busy to fab up a bracket.

I agree, the logo in the center would be funny since the grating is pushed back. I tried it initially but decided against it. you could always pop off the logo off your original to see if you like it.

i think the 500's behind the grating would look good. that was my original thought but ended up with defiant.

I have the color matched grill on my truck now and I am thinking about using my sport smoked chrome grill to mod it into a satoshi grill. How would I go about painting the smoked chrome...I am thinking black or try and color match it.
