Savage rear swingout bumper

So only 1 month left for "later this year" for this bumper. Anybody have any clue if it's happening?

I haven't heard anything but I've been so tempted to ask him. Really hoping something is out by Black Friday as I need some new rear armor and would love to grab a hold of one of his depending on how she looks.

Last month they told me they had a change in the drawing and were taking it to the laser cutter soon. Can't wait to see it soon.

Have they released a price yet? If it's just another $1000 rear bumper then there is no need for it. We honestly need a cheaper rear to compete with CBI and the like.

Nothing yet but being from Savage, my guess (hope) is that it'll be right at that $1000 mark. I feel like it's easier said than done though because that's a lot of metal, time, and supplies. Fingers crossed.

I'd be in for one of these too. My rear bumper is by far my least favorite part of my 4runner aesthetically speaking.

Yea i understand, but these companies have made so many that they have it down to a science. Theyd still be making a profit if they dropped prices to around the 7-8 hundred dollar range. Prices remain so high because people will pay them, when people stop paying thats when we'll see the biggest reduction in price.

True but prices won't hit that low for the foreseeable future. I was trying to find the price of Savage's rear tube bumper with tire carrier but can't seem to anywhere. This just trying to make guesses on the new one. Hell, if he still had the swing out available for that one, I'd hop on it. With the option without tire carrier being $549, I feel like there was at least a $350-400 premium on it with the carrier.

They'll never hit that low, the demands too high haha. My only hope for the savage is that it won't be another CBI. I can't find anything at all on the carrier.

I am looking forward to this, but I don't think it will top the CBI in the looks department.
