So just when I’m about to order sliders from savage I find out they closed shop. Anyone know of a company making sliders like savage did? They were badass and sad to see them close shop

Lot of companies make sliders. I like Bay Area metal fab’s the most, 4xinnovations, Freel good performance to name a few.

No one makes them exactly like that, most use round tube.

I was in the same camp. I tried to order those Savage sliders and went to the website and found out they were closed. I missed getting a set by about a month. Too bad that Savage didn’t sell the rights to the design to another reputable company instead of having them discontinued forever.

In all honesty since they closed shop I might just have a friend who has been a professional welder for 30 years build me a set. If savage closed shop time to take their idea and build our own.

Sliders are not all that complicated. Start with some square tube if you like that style, get some 3/4 inch square plates for the frame attachments, and bust out the welder and bandsaw. I feel like you could build a set like this in an afternoon if you are handy with a welder.
I used Rustoleum Hammered Matte Black to paint my 4xInnovations sliders. Seems to hold up decently enough, and it's cheap to just touch it up after every wash and keep them looking brand new!
