Saved Destinations - Entune Android App

Prefix: I have just installed the android version of Entune. Once paired with my car, my car was updated over the air. So you would think everything should work. I have the JBL Premium.

I entered and saved a destination on the phone app and was hoping to have the destination sync with the nav in the car once connected. How do I access the saved destination? Has anyone ever got it to work? I don't see a saved destination option on my car's nav. Its easier to enter a destination on the app. Anything is better than on-screen or voice commands.

i use it when i know that i will be going somewhere but its an address that i don't want to save as a POI (for example a store I will go to once). I search on my phone before heading out because its quicker than searching through the GPS.

that's exactly what i would like to do using the app. How do you get your saved destinations from your android app to transfer to the head unit navigation?

Ok Here's How It Works, for you newbs...

You have to have Entune installed on your phone and your bluetooth has to be connected with the car's bluetooth. Once connected, one of the first things is that your radio will say it has an update to install. Let it finish the update. It works the same way on my wife's '15 RX350 with Lexus' Enform system.

How to:

1. Go to your Entune app on your phone. You must NOT be connected to your car at this point. It is assumed that you are not in your car and already driving when you use this app. If you are connected to your car, Entune will only offer to disconnect from your car (you will have no other functions in Entune). You will see apps that are part of Entune. You will use the "Destination Search" button to enter a destination. Once opened it works pretty well. You can use the categories provided or simply type in what you are looking for. When you have your destination, save it.

2. When you get in your car, and you are connected and the update is complete, go to your Apps menu. Select "Saved Destinations" and select your destination. You may have to page through to the second or third page of your apps if you have many of them. You can re-order the apps so that "Saved Destinations" appears on the first page. Follow the prompts to navigate. That's it.

I was never a big fan of the entune app for both Andriod and iOS. I've always found it to be buggy.
