Wow...this may be the very 1st SR5 w/ a hood scoop!!

Now get a color keyed grill.

I want to get a color keyed grill as well, but since my truck is silver, the ghey chrome kinda blends w/ the body paint.

nah, i am sure there are several other SR5's with scoops, but I do know you cannot purchase a scoop in nautical blue.. had to have mine ordered in a different color, stripped and repainted to match... i actually like the silver grille as it matched the door handles and the back silver on the tailgate

for xmas though, i think i will track down the rear spoiler for her.

I'd like to add that scoop, and the rear spoiler to my SR5 one of these days... but I have a few other items higher on the list. Like lifting the front an inch and a half or so, and getting rid of those crappy tires I have on.

lol Annoyed, well, I kinda had help in doing so, we had a bad hail storm here so my hood had to be replaced anyway along with a bunch of other things... so I took that as the opportune time to give her the upgrade I had been wanting, which I thought would be super easy, but wasnt so easy after all thanks to color issues.

If you don't mind me asking, how much did the hood cost? And where did you find it?

the hood itself not painted was about $357, the additional scoop parts were about $140 and then it all had to be painted.

thats pretty sweet....and custom. looks good. i do agree w. others on the colored grill...but it sounds like you had a chore getting the hood project so i imagine a colored grill can be hard too in that color.
