Exactly. They would need to redo all the intake tubing routing. Basically, you couldn't buy the kit from their website, install it and go. It would void the SHIT out of your powertrain warranty, no question. Ask URD about it and see if they'll stand behind their kit and pay if something does happen in the long term, though I doubt they would. I've probably crossed the line on my warranty and all I did was adjust the air/fuel ratio.

Ok, so I am looking at the SC dyno results for the Tundra and it is for the 00-04. I wonder what it is for the 05+?? I wonder what the max boost is too. Damn it, now I have to call the bastards...
The horror stories are true for people who decided to up their boost. From my research the 2UZ-FE should be able to handle 5-6 lbs of boost reliably, which is what this kit is essentially providing.DiskDoctr said:ROTFLMAO!Laughed out loud at this!
I have the 04 V8 LTD 4Runner. Been trying on another board to get same answer: Can I use the Tundra kit, and what are the "right" tweaks/settings to not blow the engine.
Heard horror stories (read posts, no first hand knowledge) about the weak rods in this engine blowing up...
Let us know what you hear when you talk with them about using the Tundra kits with 4Runners.
