did yall advertise this? i'd like an invite next time. i have a few buddys w 4runners that are very capable who would come too.
 
and when might that be? im planning on going within a month with my 2 buddies that have 1st gens. anyone else is welcome. the more the merrier
 
I think we're looking at mid to late august, keep an eye on the meet thread for further updates. I couldn't make this trip either and I'm lookin forward to next time, would love to have you guys join!
 
Darn, ok well I might not end up going anyway. There doesn't seem to be interest. Just let me know when you all end up going again. Technically I have my apt. until the 15th, so if i can fit it in ill come back to NC for a day or 2 if a wheeling trip is planned.

I just don't foresee getting my lift on before then and I really wanna get that done before I get up there. No interest in a mod party?

what are you thinking? of modding? im trying to get my hands on some DOM tubing to make some sliders with . . . w/in the next couple weeks.
 
Mainly my lift... Yota man has some 99 talls I think he is trying to get on too, though I haven't talked with him in a while. I just don't really have the tools or experience with switching out the suspension to be honest and would like to get it done as cheap as possible. Also Carolinafan has his tranny cooler he needs to get on.
 
Okay guys, a quick update from work,after about 20 minutes of working on the skid plate it looks "almost" as good as new! :trophy:I will throw up a few pics when I get home.
 
Might have to put it off until the second week of august. Got a lot goin on until then and I need to get my trim packers ordered. Anyone have any experience disassembling/assembling the front struts? I would really like to avoid taking them to a shop.
 
I might be interested in a little mod party type thing. I'm pretty busy until school starts though, but I could make time if everything is right.

I might talk myself into getting a CB. I could install that there.

The big thing is where would you do it?
 
Columbia would be the obvious choice being that its right in the middle. I dont know if yota man has a place available to him or not. Might be able to talk my step dad into letting us do it at his place. He's got a big driveway and lots of tools, he might be kinda sketchy about it though (doesn't know how nice the runner community is). I'll check with him and let you guys know. I'll contact Yota man too and see if he has anywhere.
