SCAM Alert! KiwiG and Buggy and atozfries247

I've posted twice to the WTB section once for a tire, once for some wheels.

"KiwiG" replied with the tires I needed. Told me to contact him with "atozfries247 (at) gmail".

I just about paid for a couple of tires, when he said he was in California.. i figured shipping would have killed the deal.

fast forward to now.

I posted that I'm looking for some Black Rhino wheels. I get a pm from "Buggy" he says he has the wheels I'm lookin' for. Email him at "atozfries247 (at) gmail".. it had been a while, but I remembered that email, searched and remembered its the same email "KiwiG" gave me.

So, I do an image search for the wheel pics he sent me.. and whaddayaknow!
A company on the east coast was selling the same wheels on facebook marketplace with all the identical pics...



I recommend if you are doing any business with someone on here to

A) Go to their profile and look at the people whom had visited recently, and send a PM to ask if they had done business with the seller.

B) Do a image search and check FB market for those images.

C) And lastly, for the love of god! If that person refers to you as "sir" in the messages do not reply. Its a scam.

Sadly, this is a common scam.

A person contacts you and says they have what you’re looking for, without naming the item.

Then they tell you to contact their scammer friend who usually has a gmail address. Gmail won’t investigate fraud if the person scamming you didn’t send you an email through gmail, and they have billions of users, so they have too much to keep track of sufficiently.

If you can’t verify who they are by their street address and/or phone number, don’t deal with them.

He's still at it. Just received a PM from user PIZZAZZ regarding a WTB set of wheels. Requesting purchase through the same email atozfries247 @gmail.com

I basically ignored it when I realized the user was created a week ago but 5 other people had viewed his profile and when I clicked one of those users I saw this post.
