Scangauge II

I have finally convinced myself to spend $150 on Scangauge II and I am looking for advise where to mount it. I will appreciate your guys inputs.

No photo, but I mounted mine right on top of the steering column with a piece of velcro. Sticks well, and it's front-and-center. However, it does block view of the idiot lights behind it. Not usually a problem, but for example the idiot light for having your brights on is behind it, so it can sometimes be difficult to remember you have 'em on!

i wanted one of these real bad couple weeks ago, but my ride can use other things at 150$ rather than scangauge, did u buy urs new?
 
I mounted mine under my radio. It was a pretty snug fit, but it works.

At this time I am going to monitor the transmission fluid temperature before I will bypass the stock cooler (inside of radiator) with the aftermarket one.
There are many other apps you can use the Scangauge for.
 
Get a blend mount from MGT Motorsports. It mounts the scan gauge above the rear view mirror. I have one for my Tacoma, I believe it works for the 4runner too.
 
i mounted mine to the front of my ashtray. i dont smoke and dont use the ashtray, plus the cable sneaks in behind the tray through a hole and make for a really clean install. can get pictures if wanted.

While I like the ashtray idea the best I will try the other options as well.
