This is from one of the local annual "let's get drunk and drive trucks through the mud" events. There are 4 or 5 of them a year, and they are all the same, the police have finally started stopping people on the way out the last few years, but in the woods it's generally a bad scene. They are usually held on private property so the police can't just go up there and start arresting people, but once you leave the woods and hit the gov't roads, they'll have road blocks set up.
Ignoring the fact that everyone watching and driving is probably drunk, when the bumper breaks you can see the direction it started flying was DIRECTLY towards the crowd. Luckily the bumper was heavy enough that it lost momentum before anyone was hit.
