Schnebly Hill Road, Sedona, AZ

This trail was built more than 100 years ago. Before it was built it took roughly 4 days to travel from Sedona to Flagstaff, after it was completed it took only 2 days. Today, on the interstate, it takes about 30 minutes (maybe less). There is nothing hard about this trail (my 4runner is stock and had no problems), though you would not want to do this in a passenger car at all.

There are quite a few out here. A lot of them are all old wagon trails used by the miners and just lead to old mines and abandoned ghost towns.

I just bought my 4Runner about a month ago and I bought a couple books that show where trails are in AZ. There are a lot of places to go. So many to see, so few weekends!!

Last time I was there in June someone was taking a highlander up that road.
