Scion AUX output adapter

I was looking for a cheap way to hook up my XM and MP3 player through the AUX input on my Scion radio. I found this on Ebay:

The guy had 100% feedback so I thought I would give it a shot - with shipping it came out to be about $15. It 'turns on' the AUX input and works fine, so I thought I would share. The output on the XM is kind of low, but that is a problem with the XM, not the adapter. I don't see why it wouldn't work for the standard 4Runner radio, but I'm not 100% sure.

It looks just like a PIE adapter! I've got one on my first year model Scion radio and the output is kinda low. I cleared things up a bit by adding a ground loop from radio shack.

Not only do I use it for my portable Sirius satellite radio but also for the portable DVD player sound through car stereo system. Click on the DVD player's surround sound, turn up your Scion radio's bass and you have a somewhat moving home theater.

Good luck.....you can find the adapter on the internet if you do a search. There is also several threads about these types of adapters in this forum if you use the search option tab on the home page here.

Thanks for the response, however my point was that I am happily using a $15 AUX adapter that does everything much more expensive adapters do.
