Scion headunit just intalled!

Whats up guys,

Ive been lurking these forums for about a year or so and have and ive gotten really info. And have enjoyed reading all of your posts. Its kept me going through out the day at work. Just wanna say thanks.

I just installed an 07 Scion TC HU in my 03 T4R. Took about 15 mins. Much better than the stock non-JBL. Now im just trying to figure out how to customize the start up screen text. Can someone help me out?

Also, whats the deal with the setting to where it switches to Scion TC, Scion XA, and Scion XB? Any particuler one I should choose?

I think I got instructions on the ScionLife site. The instructions may vary depending on the model you got.

For the Scion TC, Scion XA, and Scion XB settings, they do affect the sound. I cycled through them till it gave the sound I preferred.

FWIW - my Scion HU came with the manual and full instructions but I never could figure out how to change the greeting. I jsut left it as-is.

SCION.COM website has a little video that goes over the features of the T1808 and I think it covers how to do this.
