Scion HU 2006

I know it's probably been hashed and re-hashed and I've already found several bits of information by using the "search", but can anyone tell me for sure if a 2006 Scion HU will work with the 10 speaker JBL system? Pretty sure I read that the steering wheel controls will still work, but not too sure if the 10 speaker system is supported. This is the kind I'm looking at:

I've read all of the threads because I am also looking to buy a single CD Scion H/U.

I am very sure that it is stated that the Scion H/U only works with the stock 6 speaker ystem

That's unfortunate...... Anyone know of any other HU's that will work with the 10 speakers, without getting too pricy? Under $200 CAD?

Yeah the SCION head unit will not work if you have the JBL Head unit. I went from a single disc JBL to a 6 disc JBL. That's the only other head unit I know that will work.
