Scion HU in 3rd Gen 4Runner?

I've tried searching but can't find an answer on this. Does anyone know if the Scion HU will fit properly in a 3rd gen without any trimming or fabricating? I currently have the stock 6-disc changer but would be interested in a Scion HU for the MP3 capabilities. Any help or install instructions would be greatly appreciated.

Actually, I purchased a Scion HU but did not install it in my 4Runner. I did test fit it and found that one of two things will have to happen. You will either have to cut some material from the sides of the bezel of the HU or take some material out of the sides of the piece that snaps onto the dash surrounding the HU.

i cant find a way or tool to cut the bezel, any suggestion?

I was planning to use a Dremel rotary tool. That should easily be able to cut through either item but you'll need to be careful and take your time.

I have the Saturn HU installed in my 00 4runner.

I didn't need to modify the dash opening, I just used a dremel to trim down a plastic piece behind the dash. Most of the modification needs to be done to the radio itself. That must be trimmed down a bunch. But I only paid $25 for the Scion HU so I wasn't worried too much about screwing it up. I actually wound up trimming a little too much off the unit, but it's covered by the dash, so it looks good.
