my cousin (xB owner) told me about this.
HOLD SSP button down for about 5~10 seconds
your HU will beep and display what setting it is on (xA, xB, or tC).
Turn the volume knob to change the setting.
in my opinion xA sounds the best more highs.
xB setting more bass and tC setting more mids.
My preset setting was tC even though this HU came off of a xB, my cousins was also set at tC.
to me the change is night and day. its like get a new HU all over again.
note: i was told this might not work for some year models. I have a 06 cousin has a 05 (ipod version).
