Hello to all from a new member....
I recently purchased a 2005 T4R SR5 with the base factory, non-JBL radio. After reading some posts here and elsewhere, I picked up a Scion T1807 HU and a Terk XMDTLK XM direct kit, the one no longer made by Terk..Dash disassmbly is tough, but went OK...The radio install went OK and appreared to be working OK...But the Scion HU will not go into Sat mode to detect the XM direct smart adapter. I can't tell if the HU is bad, the adapter bad, or the wiring harness bad....Does anyone have a T1807 with nothing plugged into the aux/sat input port? Does the HU go into Sat mode with nothing plugged in?
AM/FM/CD all work fine. I believe normally two pushes on the AM / Sat button goes from AM to sat, but not now...
Any ideas would be terrific.
