I am having a hell of a time finding one of these! Where have you guys found yours? There don't seem to be many on ebay, and people at scionlife.com keep trying to get me to pay ~$200 for one of these units.

Any suggestions?

because i'm poor and need to save some $$ for some parts i have coming. :)

also, i really only use one cd for awhile, then change it. ;)

a guy was asking $80 for one, i told him i'd pay that and shipping, but then he told me this morning that now three other people were interested. sooo... guess i won't be getting that. but i am still hoping to find one!!

They are getting more and more popular. When I bought mine last december they were going for 90-100 dollars. I am sure you can still fine some at that price. I would keep looking on ebay, try different names while searching.

what do you mean "try different names" ? i tried searching on ebay, but there didn't seem to be any ... i will keep looking though.

yeah, i saw that one and asked the seller a few questions with no reply ... i was trying to figure out whether it was a single-disc or 6-disc unit, but never heard back. then i started researching it and discovered he listed a model number corresponding to the single-disc unit, while at the same time the pioneer model number he provided corresponds to the 6-disc unit ...

so ...

there's no telling what he's offering. either he's selling the 6-disc for an awesome price, or he's selling the single-disc for wayyyyy high.

in any case, someone emailed me and i just paid $100 for a single-disc unit. :)

Good price ... all the 4th gen owners that have that HU say its awesome and worth the money.

yeah, seems like ~$100 is the average selling price for the single-disc units ... can't wait to try it out! :D

You won't be disappointed! My wife still comments on the difference in sound quality.

Once you get it installed don't forget to hold down the SSP button for 3 seconds. This will allow you to switch between the Xa and Xb mode. I found the Xa mode in Feel was perfect for my 4R.

Enjoy................

That one on eBay is a single CD player, same as mine.

I'm still trying to find one too.

If any of you guys stumble across one of these, send me an e-mail if you would! Much appreciated!

you can just go to scionlife.com and post a WTB (wanted to buy) thread in the classified section ... you'll get a ton of replies in your inbox, as i am still having to tell people "sorry, i already bought a unit" ...

The single CD unit has the top right button reading PWR. On the 6CD HU, you will see the word MODE.

I called up Nathan the seller on ebay and found that info out.

I can't wait to get my 6-cd changer.
