I finally got my scoop hood back from paint today and installed it at lunch! They did a great job of matching the paint as its near dead on. Next project.....make the scoop functional into the airbox!

where did you get the hood and how much was it

I got the hood from a wrecking yard near me. The hood is a brand new metal aftermarket hood and looks exactly like factory. It was $150. It didnt come with the scoop insert or hardware so my cost from the dealer new was $125 for everything. We send alot of work to a body shop near my work so they gave me a deal for paint, $200. So i'm in it just under $500

wow a wrecking yard? that was a long shot. most truck that end up in yard here are from front end collision. So the hood would have been scrap metal.

toytech, i really like the look of your lift, but cant really understand what it is in your specs.... can you give me an idea of how you're lifted and how much it cost?

I have the 3' revtek spacers in front. I added an additional 3/8-1/2 spacer on top of that. In the rear I have land cruiser springs and shocks. The LC springs and shocks I bought from someone off yotatech for $80. The revtek kit I got for $400 but sold the rear spacers for $60 I think since I didnt need them because of the cruiser springs. So really im only in it for less than $450
