So I couldnt help but chuckle -when I bought 4R #2- at the dealer installed protective packages. The nice lady quoted me several hundred dollars for the "Interior Protection Package" which was admittedly a petroleum distillate that is sprayed onto the cloth portions of the interior. Being the anal retentive untrusting fellow I am I politely declined and decided to purchase a $4.59 can of Scotch-Gard Auto from Wal-Mart. Since I have a 4 day weekend I decided to take it easy this morning and have a few cups of coffee and take a few pics. On the passenger side I taped all the trim off with blue painters tape (3M) and went to work. I did a test on the passengers side for colorfastness, no color leech. When I did the drivers side and cargo area I passed on the tape and just wiped the overspray off immediately with a rag. Took about 30 minutes. I didnt bother doing the back seats because A. I ran out of spray and B. Check out my plate
