Scraping title question

Ok so I know you.need the title.to turn a car in for scrap
But my question is in the event u buy a car pull the engine and scrap it do I have to transfer the title to my name or can I just give them the title with previous owners name signed?

Not in Michigan they only require you to sign the back as a "agent"
call your local scrap yard and ask that would be the best way to find out what you need.

I scrapped two 4runners in TN without any title. Each state is different. As BV said, call your local scrap yard and clarify with them.

K I know my friend took a rolling chassis and I'm pretty sure they asked for the title
