I have some on the side mirrors that were done off-road in New Mexico. I used a mild polish that made them less obvious, and the remaining marks are "battle scars" that I will leave. If someone asks about them, it gives me an opportunity to tell them about the off-road fun that was had. The few slight "pinstripes" that I got on the sides of the vehicle were gently rubbed out and a coat of Liquid Glass was reapplied over the area. Fortunately none of the scratches were deep enough to gouge the paint.

I still park in the remote areas of the parking lot to avoid the dings from morons with wide-swinging doors, but pinstriping from an off-road adventure is like gray hair and wrinkles, you earned them so why hide them?
