I need a solution how to repair this paint or how much to repair on my 2011 4runner

Well my friend, I kinda did the same thing, but not as deep, only longer....about 2.5 inches vertically. Brought it to my body guy. He had one of his guys sand it with 2500 grit sandpaper. Now heres the thing, I didnt see what was done, or should I say how it was done. I can only assume that it was wet sanded with 2500 grit paper, then lightly compounded, then waxed. I can guarantee it was waxed by the slick feel of the door when I got it back. Thats the only part of the process that I can guarantee as well as using the 2500 grit sandpaper. My body guy is a magician.

So at the very least, this is something I can give you to go on or to start with.

I agree, but I bought 2011 with no scratches. Also, I am looking a professional detailed to fix this. I would like to know a price?

if you want a good guestimate, you will need to take another picture from further away to show location and give a better idea of size. My swag is $300-$400 but I need a better picture.

and i can feel you not liking the scratch, i have all kind of pinstriping on my car but a scratch like this would still piss me off

I also bought a 2011 without a scratch.

However 6 years later I have a realistic view of the fact that it is no longer that way and to spend money on repairing something like that, would just be a foolish waste of money.

....If that costs $100 to fix, you will be paying $1200 a year to fix shit like that. It's a 4Runner. You gotta let the little stuff go. I got a large double rock chip in the 4 miles it took me to drive my new 2012 home from the dealer (Colorado ugh). Spent 2 days fuming about it. Day 3 I woke up and realized that the 4Runner is a utility vehicle. Worrying about the small stuff really takes the joy out of the utility aspect. 80k later and I have all kinds of little scratches, but she still looks awesome after a good wash. I'm not afraid to toss all kinds of crap in the back and go get it dirty, because thats what it as built for.
