we just took our runner out for a picnic. While driving there, there was some brush that scratched it up. Now there are white streaks on the side of the runner. My question is, is there any way to remove them?

Depends on if the scratches went deep. If they're in the clearcoat (and not below the basecoat/primer), you can rub them out. I use Meguiar's ScratchX, which comes in a black tube. Just make sure you wash the area well first, and seal the area with a good wax after you rub it out.
