A week ago I noticed a long (but not deep at all) scratch on my drivers seat. Would Meguiar's take care of that or is there something else I can do to get rid of the scratch? I once heard very fine sandpaper might work (or that might just be in my head). Any info would be much appreciated!

There is not much you can do for a scratch, unless it's just something like a color transfer from the offending object. Any leather defect, even a scuff, can be hidden somewhat by a quality leather conditioner, but a coat of dye is the only absolute way of fixing it. And THAT is a poor choice unless you can do a whole panel. Hopefully you can find the color so it won't look even worse.
If you want to experiment,,,, scratch an old leather shoe and try to fix it. You can sand the scratch out but then the color is gone and must be re-dyed.
I'd suggest conditioning it and learn to live with it. Everything I ever tried made it uglier.
