VERY VERY soon. However, we are leaving for SEMA, but once we get back in town we should receive our container. The pre-orders will begin soon.

Cant wait! I'm excited. I installed my lift on my 5th gen 4Runner this weekend and the stock wheels just don't look right anymore. It's screaming for me to get some SCS SR8s installed!
 
I'm looking at buying the SR8 in matte black for my 2016 4 runner sr5.

I dont want to lift the vehicle but i was wondering if you had any tire suggestions for a semi aggressive look. mostly highway miles. occasional California state park visit (once a month or so) but not a lot of off roading

so far i have my eye on either the
Toyo Open Country A/T II
BFG All Terrain T/A KO2

I dont really want to do any alterations for rubbing or anything if at all possible

If you stick to the stock size 265/70-15r you and possibly some 275/70-16r you won't have any rubbing on a stock vehicle. Personally I think the BFGs K02 look fantastic. I though have Cooper AT3 and can tell you that when I put them on my car after 1000 miles and still in stock form they instantly made it look and ride better.

For your next version I'd suggest making a removable fake beadlock ring vs. the current non-removable one.

The good thing about that ring is it will somewhat protect the wheel from rocks.

However it will eventually get pretty rashed up and it is a major downer that it isn't removable because if it was you could easily remove it, repaint or PC it and then reinstall.

As it stands now, yes the ring will protect the rest of the wheel from getting scuffed but repainting it would still be a PIA and involve a lot of proper taping to protect the rest of the wheel's finish.

Think about their market though. You aren't gonna want to scratch a $800 set of wheels. People that beach their trucks on rocks, 9 times out of 10 aren't gonna spend more than $300 on a set of wheels unless they're paying for actual beadlocks.

Also the production cost of an actual removable ring is much higher.
